Seats
The majority of triple buggies are initially single pushchairs, although some models can be converted to accommodate the seat of a second person or carrycot with adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models allow you to add a ride-on board for older children who would like to walk but still need some help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ultra-lightweight option that is perfect for city streets. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket with plenty of storage space. It can hold twins from birth and will accommodate two car seats or a carrycot and seat. However, the seats have to be facing forwards, and there's no space for a shopping bag under, so you'll need a backpack for that.

Suspension
The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is crucial since babies can feel every bump on the road, particularly if it's on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Certain models also have locking front wheels to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Some models come with air-filled tyres, which give you a great all-terrain experience, but they can be susceptible to punctures, so make sure you have spares in the trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to absorb bumps. They are less likely to puncture, however they may be uncomfortable for your child if you decide to jog.

Folding
A 3 wheel double buggy can fold up very well for storage. This is particularly true if your wheels are larger than the typical size. You will have more stability and it will be less likely that you will need to tip over or flip your child.
