Claire who was our test subject was impressed by the packaging. It was simple to open and clean. She found it to be one of the most simple and quick pieces of baby equipment to set up. She took it for a spin on the rough terrain and was very pleased with its performance.
Seats
The majority of triple buggies are initially single pushchairs, although some models can be converted to accommodate the seat of a second person or carrycot with adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models allow you to add a ride-on board for older children who would like to walk but still need some help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ultra-lightweight option that is perfect for city streets. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket with plenty of storage space. It can hold twins from birth and will accommodate two car seats or a carrycot and seat. However, the seats have to be facing forwards, and there's no space for a shopping bag under, so you'll need a backpack for that.
Mountain Buggy Duet will be a good option for you if you enjoy off-road driving. It is a side by tandem with the most compact footprint of any double buggy that is available. It's easier to maneuver through narrow doors as well as on public transport. It is also able to climb up and over kerbs. The phil&teds dots are great single buggys that can be easily adapted to accommodate two (or three!) in a variety of configurations. This is particularly helpful when you have a child in a car seat, because the frame can be fitted with a wedgie for optimum lie-flat positioning, or car seat adapters for a wider range of brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is crucial since babies can feel every bump on the road, particularly if it's on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Certain models also have locking front wheels to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.

Folding
A 3 wheel double buggy can fold up very well for storage. This lets you have the best of both worlds.
